Social Sector & Spiritual Outcomes
Social sector and faith-based organizations often struggle to assess their performance relative to their mission. Outcomes for these organizations are much more difficult to measure than revenue and profit. Increasingly, stakeholders—from donors to boards to granting and accrediting agencies—are requiring systematic assessment of mission-related outcomes. This makes it all the more important for social sector organizations to strategically assess their core outcomes.
Dr. Hall brings his unique background in psychometrics, educational assessment, and strategic planning to his work with social sector and faith-based organizations. As part of a larger strategic planning process, Dr. Hall helps organizations identify core outcomes, develop meaningful assessment measures, and track outcomes.
One of these core outcomes for many faith-based organizations, including Christian schools, parachurch organizations, mission agencies, and churches, is spiritual transformation. Dr. Hall helps organizations implement use of the Spiritual Transformation Inventory (STI) to assess and facilitate spiritual development. His work in this area includes group level assessment reports, implementation of the STI spiritual formation curriculum, and strategic planning around spiritual formation. He also develops customized spiritual assessments to fit an organization’s needs.
He has worked with numerous organizations on spiritual assessment including the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), Coalition of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), and numerous Christian universities, faith-based non-profits, churches, and mission agencies.
